As a Senior Commercial manager, you’ll have the chance to be in a leadership role overseeing the day-to-day finance and accounting functions of a large water program. Working with other members of the team, you will interface with the program manager and key stakeholders to manage and prepare financial and business-related analyses and reports as well as oversee all commercial and contract management functions for the program. B.A. or B.S. degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Engineering, Business or related field of study.
10 or more years of related financial and commercial management experience in consulting services
Extensive prior experience in budgeting and financial planning and reporting as well as contract management.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Experience in developing and implementing performance reporting and continual improvement systems in the commercial management context.
Experience in developing, implementing and managing commercial and contract management frameworks. Strong contractual knowledge and background leading complex contract negotiations.
Ability to deliver quality operational and business outcomes in support of the operating environment consistent with the strategic direction of the organization.
Experience in managing a diverse range of complex projects effectively across a program and/or range of different functional areas.
Be a strong team builder who can motivate, support, and guide staff to successfully perform their roles, improve their skills, and act as integral members of a program management team.
Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to work through complex topics
Be adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams. Ability to be self-managing in an uncertain and fluid client environment.
