Bob’s Discount Furniture seeks a creative project manager to join its advertising team. This is an immediate need and requires a candidate that has some experience and is able to jump in right away. We’re looking for someone that will have no problem building the plane while flying it. As a creative project manager, you will be the glue that keeps projects — and people — together.
This is not just a generic project management opportunity; the successful candidate will also need to have a deep familiarity with creative and production processes. You will work directly under the Director of Creative Services, alongside designers, writers and the production team, and also collaborate with other departments outside of advertising, such as Ecommerce, Merchandising, and more.
Attend interdepartmental meetings, relaying the important information and deliverables to the creative team
Gathering information and writing creative briefs for larger projects
Manage various work streams for the creative team
Prioritize, delegate and balance work load for the creative team
Assess current processes and propose solutions to make them more efficient
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, or related discipline
1-4 years relevant experience
Proficient in relevant project management software
Knowledge of typical creative workflows and tools
Able to constantly set, observe, and re-evaluate priorities
A multi-tasker able to juggle many projects
Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
Able to remain cool under pressure
Solution orientated, creative problem solver
Good decision maker
Candidates with experience in retail, fashion or interior design
