The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Texas Tech University invites applications for non-tenure track position at the Research Assistant Professor level.
A research faculty position (assistant, associate or full professor) are available in the research group of Professor Yehia Mechref at Texas Tech University, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Lubbock, TX. The candidate must have knowledge of biomolecular mass spectrometry and chromatographic and spectroscopic methodologies pertaining to the structural analysis of proteins and glycoconjugates. It is desirable that the candidate has experience with Orbitrap Velos and triple quad instruments. This position requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
Candidates who have very strong records of scholarship supported by extramural funding and who have the proven capacity or clear potential to bring externally sponsored research to Texas Tech University are encouraged to apply. Service duties include program-building, as well as commitment to extra-curricular activities. Service to the department, college, university, and community is expected.
