Multi-Location Pediatric Practice - Atlanta, GA

The Personnel and Human Resources Administrator position is needed for a high-volume pediatric practice. The objective of the Personnel and Human Resources Administrator is to lead and manage the primary functions related to staff supervision and day-to-day management of the human resource related functions of the practice. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: staff management, supervision and scheduling; recruitment and hiring processes; staff orientation and training; performance reviews; conflict management; and human resource benefits management. The Personnel and Human Resource Administrator serves as a counterpart to the Finance and Operations Administration. These positions will collaborate heavily in the overall management of the practice. This position is also a member of the practice leadership team.

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in administration, human resources or personnel management
  • 3-5 years HR generalist or assistant experience and previous experience in employee benefit administration and staff management/supervision
  • SHRM certification is a strongly preferred
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Registration by National Board a plus
  • Demonstrates strength in relating to people and taking delight in supporting staff development. Strong people skills.
  • Strong skills in effective problem-solving, especially troubleshooting
  • Strong ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Excellent active listening and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Excellent computer skills, and previous experience with an EMR system a plus
