Social Media Intern

As a Social Media Specialist, you will help to elevate our consumer and employment brand by providing visibility across all lines of social media.

Naturally, you are described as an excellent story-teller that enjoys working independently and motivated to collaborate creatively within the marketing team and other departments. As someone that thinks quickly on their feet, you love crafting clever messages, publishing, monitoring, responding, and analyzing social networks with the overarching goal to increase brand awareness and engagement. Your goal is to achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.

You will also:
Monitor and respond to various online comments and messages that come across different social channels - organically or user-generated.
Join relevant social conversations and settle on the best approach to answering responses online on behalf of our brand.
Commit to turning negative customer experiences on social media into a positive or neutral experience for our guests
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with customer issues and resolutions
Creatively develop and partner to add calendar themes and content for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, FB Tabs, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat among others. Share resources available while staying ahead of new technology and apps that will help generate interest in our brand.
Assist in generating, editing, publishing, and sharing daily content (text, images, video) that develops a cause for action and end-user immersion and interaction.
Partner with marketing teams to incorporate video, graphics/artwork to improve our social presence.
Research and understand competitors marketing strategies while differentiating the A Wireless brand in the marketplace
Update and keep up social media calendar while monitoring social media performance, report performance metrics, and strategize on company standard for increasing our online footprint and overall presence
Answer Internal Ticket System (ZenDesk) items and troubleshoot any social media related issues
Monitor and maintain social media email
Display flexibility within an ever-changing environment and work with manager to align with departmental and company goals
Other job related duties as assigned

We look for the Social Media Specialist to have a deep understanding of customer and market dynamics. Of course, being extremely organized and able to develop deep relationships internally and externally will be a requirement for this role. You are highly enthusiastic when it comes to both problem-solving and business solutions. We also look for the Social Media Specialist to bring:

Validated working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
Excellent consulting, writing, basic graphic design skills, presentation and communication skills
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Fluency in English
Working toward Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business and/or Public Relations desired

Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
