The Oracle Food & Beverage Global Business Unit (FBGBU) provides products and services to restaurants, casinos, resorts, stadiums, arenas, cruise ships, and wide range of other food service customers around the globe. The FBGBU Consulting organization delivers a wide range of services related to the delivery and deployment of FBGBU hardware and software solutions to enable our customers in the restaurant industry to provide superior service and experience to their guests anywhere.

The FBGBU Consulting team is looking for a strong, dynamic leader for our global Project Management Office (PMO) who can help shape global project engagement and management standards and methodologies as well as drive a highly successful portfolio of customer and internal projects of varying complexity.

As an acknowledged authority within the Oracle FBGBU, this senior-level program management position provides innovative solution leadership with significant industry-wide impact. Has wide latitude in guiding the successful implementation of an integrated business solution ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget and to the customer’s satisfaction.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. As a position of professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. This role may manage multiple projects, tracks, or phases within the program often with international deployment activity. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in identifying and resolving significant and unique issues and risks impacting project success. Leads high performing consulting teams on very challenging projects. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences the most difficult customer decisions and business transformation. Ensures deliverables are acceptable, and works closely with the customer to understand and manage program expectations. This position works closely with all Oracle lines of business, partners and third-party vendors to ensure program delivery success. Enables business development efforts by providing domain expertise. Manages the scope of large-scale programs and strategic accounts with high levels of complexity.

10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 5+ years of project management experience. Second-level management experience preferred; proficient at managing managers and global team. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects of increasing complexity with commensurate professional sophistication. Comfortable working in matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the F&B portfolio focus. Proficient in using selling and negotiation techniques and tools. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. PMI certification preferred. Ability to travel as needed.

10+ years of experience relevant to this position including 3 years of project management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. PMI certification preferred. Ability to travel as needed.
