Grandover Resort is looking for an experienced Mixologist/Bar Manager
This individual will be an “outside the box” thinker who has experience creating classic cocktails as well as original recipes with a modern edge.
Their repertoire should include infusions, shrubs, dehydrated fruits and other modern techniques.
The position will be responsible for managing all bar staff within the resort to include; The 1808 Bar, 19 and Timber as well as the Pool Bar.
The candidate must be well versed on all NC ABC laws and have extensive experience. Prior management experience required.
Key requirements:
Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
Flexible schedule allowing for nights, weekends and holidays
Working knowledge of NC ABC laws and regulations
Previous management experience required
Must have background in creating creative cocktails (classic & original recipes)
Current working knowledge of local beers and wine
Responsibilities:
Manage and schedule all bar staff
Maintain liquor, beer and wine inventories
Ability to supervise staff as well as bartend when necessary
Prepare house-made syrups, shrubs, dehydrated fruits and other garnishes
Maintain cleanliness of bars and equipment
Continuous staff training
Assist with creating monthly tastings and events
Participate in Bi-monthly Special events and Marketing meetings
