POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):

This specialist position is fully dedicated to management of all ASICS AAC social channels. This role is critical in being the voice of the brand to ensure a proper 1:1 communication with consumers, via ASICS social channels, across Performance and Sportstyle. Reporting into a Senior Manager, this person must have the ability to streamline communication flow with consumers and our internal customer service team. In this role, you will support the Sr. Manager on outlining how , when and why we engage with consumers across our social platforms for both paid and organic. This includes leveraging culture moments, sporting events, and brand programs, while also working cross functionally to both build the ASICS brand and drive conversion. The ideal candidate is solution oriented, collaborative, and spirited. Experience in social tools such as Sprinklr are ideal.


Is the voice of the brand when responding to consumers via ASICS social platforms
~ 30% includes all posting and community engagement of the Performance and Sportstyle accounts, across all ASICS channels
This largely includes answering consumer questions and engaging and driving meaningful ‘brand-right’ conversations; requiring tight alignment with customer service.
About 15% of time will be focused on nuancing the how, when and why we engage with consumers
The final 20% will be focused on partnering with the larger digital team on social posting and scheduling strategy, including ‘live’ posting
Attention to detail, and aligned process and clear communication is a must
Partner with ASICS DIGITAL on social listening – glean strategic insights from community management for monthly reporting. Consider marketplace approaches, as well as WHSL account approach to ensure ‘best in class’ insights and optimizations for cross-functional partners
Is the regional marketing ‘go-to’ on social management tools like Sprinklr, through tight alignment with the ASICS DIGITAL media team and Senior Manager

Directly reports into the Senior Manager, Digital + Social. Will also work cross-functionally within the marketing organization
Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors

4+ years in social digital marketing
Bachelor's degree – Marketing, Digital/social and/or Business
Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, etc. Social metrics platforms like Sprinklr.
Google Applications such as Gmail, Google Hangouts, etc. a plus.
