Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a fulltime, mid-level, office-based Technical Support Consultant/IT Administrator with ability to proficiently read and diagnose .NET code as well as possessing broad technical knowledge to primarily provide remote technical support to new and existing customers, and to offer limited System/IT Administration functions for the local U.S. office. This role will be responsible for facilitating technical support of customers using our .NET based solutions including knowledge of C#.NET, PowerShell, SQL Server/Oracle, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare/Hyper V, Azure/AWS Cloud, as well some limited IT/System Admin functions for the local U.S. office such as support of VOIP, Desktops/Printers/Peripherals, Network Router/Firewall, Domain. Some minimal, domestic travel may be required.

Salary Range: $55k - $75k Gross DOE + benefits Package

Location: This position is full-time/exempt M-F 8AM-5PM EST, based in our U.S. Office in Peachtree City, Georgia.

Detailed Description

Technical Support Consultantswill primarily be responsible for facilitating the resolution of technical support tickets submitted by our customer via our helpdesk system. This will require proficiency in our .NET software suite while providing regular reports and status updates to team members and management. Our software is used by enterprise scale, mission critical systems for large manufacturers, financial companies, retail companies and governments. This role may also require creating technical documentation/release notes as well as delivering in-office technical training to our customers.

Technical Support Consultants are responsible for the following:

Facilitate the resolution of technical support tickets submitted by our customers including gathering the required information to replicate, diagnose, and resolve or escalate the issue.

Assist with testing including replicating any defects resulting from the environment configuration or source code and decide as to the best course of action for resolution.

Create and maintain all technical documentation related to the support ticket.

Create and maintain technical documentation including release notes.

Conduct technical training for client developers and operators.

Prepare and present status update reports for management.

Assist our managed services provider, where required, with supporting IT Administration needs of the local U.S. office including laptop, printer and peripherals, local servers, network firewall and routers, local VMs, local Domain Administration.

Required Experience and Education:

Three or moreyears’ experience with enterprise scale computer programming, systems analysis and/or systems administration a must;

Degree in Computer Science or related field such as CIS or MIS;

*Equivalent certifications or work experience acceptable

Programming experience with C#, ASP, VB.NET, VBScript/PowerShell;

Experience with SDLC and currently supported versions of Microsoft Visual Studio [Test] Team Foundation Server;

Experience with currently supported relational database management systems including MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2;

Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;

Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and to be comfortable with diversity in the workplace;

Ability to work independently or to effectively collaborate with geographically distributed teams;

Highly Preferred Skills:

Preferred candidates will also have some basic understanding or experience with:

Installing, configuring and maintaining current versions of VM Ware/Hyper-V, IIS, TCP/IP, Microsoft Windows Server, MS SQL Server or Oracle and Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud;

Systems Analysis, Systems Administration and/or Systems Integration;

Participating in large, complex, multi-function information technology projects;

Delivering quality service and satisfaction to internal and external customers;

Please Note:

These positions are only appropriate to individuals with a strong background in Programming Analysis and/or Software Development and optimally some experience in Technical Support, Systems Administration, Systems Analysis or Systems Integration. Candidates must have reliable transportation and willingness to work in an office during normal business hours M-F 8 AM – 5 PM EST. Comp Time is offered should after-hours and/or weekend work be necessary
