The Senior Director, Digital Marketing will be responsible for expanding Veeam’s presence and efficiency across Veeam’s multi-channel digital initiatives to deepen engagement, meet financial goals, generate new leads, and build on Veeam’s brand.
The individual will lead global search, PPC, Advertising, 3rd party paid programs, marketing automation, data base management, email execution and our content strategy/team. The team consists of approximately 40 people located across the globe. He/she will be a key member of the leadership team and will help to deliver on KPI’s that contribute to the growth of the company. The Senior Director will champion and provide thought-leadership on digital that will set the strategy and tactics for the team. He/she will be results oriented and will collaborate across the sales and marketing teams to help develop a holistic digital marketing strategy.
He/she will oversee management of vendor relationships, digital usage, trends and will form online content partnerships to promote Veeam. He/she will leverage research and data to make investment decisions and to better target prospects. The Senior Director will have strong business and technical acumen and set clear priorities for the team.
Lead our digital marketing strategy and execution including targeting prospects by segment/by geo with SEM, display, retargeting.
Lead diverse marketing automation platform (Marketo) team to execute on programs and target prospects.
Take a holistic approach across all digital marketing touch points to optimize results and a deliver a consistent customer experience.
Work closely with campaign managers, product marketing, corporate marketing and communications and the regional field marketing teams to develop multi-channel digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Develop and implement key digital journeys/experiences, and other tools, to drive new customer acquisition.
Work closely with the design team to develop compelling banners and email communication to drive awareness and lead generation.
Use data and results to determine which programs to invest in/which programs to divest.
Measure and communicate the results of KPIs; determine actions for continuous improvement.
Work with IT to evolve metrics for a deeper understanding of what is/is not working.
Conduct A/B testing to optimize results.

7+ years digital marketing experience with proven results.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, technology and analytics such as SEM, SEO, Marketo, Salesforce, email automation tools, web metrics, and analytics.
Exceptional writing and messaging skills. Proven ability to translate complex information into simple, compelling messages.
Ability to effectively lead a global team and to work multiple projects in a fast-paced/fast-growth environment
Deep understanding of marketing to different segments and buyers from SMB to Enterprise to Service Providers and channel partners. Ability to adjust communication to accommodate the different persona’s pain points and needs.
Experience collaborating with and leveraging agencies and other vendor partners.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as marketing. MBA desired.
