Lexa Records is a fast-growing Medical Records Management Company located in Westlake, Texas. We currently have multiple Full-time openings for EMR Techs and ROI Specialists. Starting salary is $12.00/hr. with a potential to make $14.00/hr.

EMR Tech – Our Electronic Medical Record Techs will attach documents to patients’ charts daily. You will be assigned specific doctor offices and are expected to accurately attach a required number of PDF attachments per day. We guarantee a 24-hour turnaround, while ensuring that our employees undergo continuous training to minimize the possibility of error.

ROI Specialist - We respond to and complete medical record requests from Social Security (DDS), workers compensation offices, patients, doctors, subpoenas, attorneys, insurance companies, third party vendors, and others. Lexa Records is 100% HIPAA compliant and our main responsibility is to maintain the security and confidentiality of PHI. All team members are educated concerning federal and state laws as they protect the confidentiality of records. All ROI Specialists will complete CRIS Certification (Certified Release of Information Specialist).

Job Requirements:

  • Good typing skills; at least 35 WPM
  • Knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel required
  • Ability to multi task
  • Attention to details
  • Reliable transportation
  • Punctuality and attendance are a must
  • Commitment to learning and training
  • Drama free team member with a stable job history
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology are a plus
