Administrative Office of WV Supreme Court of Appeals, Technology Services Division - Administrative Assistant: The Administrative Office of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia is announcing the following professional opportunity within its Technology Services Division, headquartered in Charleston, West Virginia. The Technology Services Division is responsible for all technology-related matters for the Court System of the State of West Virginia, including the Administrative Offices of the Supreme Court of Appeals. The Administrative Assistant position is a highly responsible administrative and clerical position. Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities include: strong administrative, organization, and time management skills; knowledge of office management and procedures; problem solving skills; ability to prioritize work; proficient in Microsoft Office applications; ability to type 50 wpm; ability to perform in a dynamic work environment; ability to communicate well verbally and in writing. Primary duties include but are not limited to: Organizing and scheduling appointments; planning meetings and taking detailed minutes; establishing and maintaining a filing system; answers and directs phone calls; writes and distributes email, correspondence, memos, letters, faxes and forms; proofreads correspondence; assists with updating policy and procedure documents as well as other organizational documentation; orders and maintains supplies; handles incoming and outgoing mail and parcels; makes travel arrangements; assists with expense reports, inventories, and other accounts receivable work; assists with the maintenance of calendars. All successful candidates must submit to a criminal background check. Performs other duties as assigned.
