Consulting for Winrock International
Winrock International is a nonprofit organization that works with people in the United States and around the world to empower the disadvantaged, increase economic opportunity, and sustain natural resources.
Winrock uses a consultant registry to recruit and maintain communication with our short- and long-term consultants. Our professional registry is one of our most useful resources for identifying experts for our technical assistance needs.
Winrock is expanding its pool of qualified, professional consultants for both short- and long-term assignments, within the U.S. and internationally, primarily in developing and transitional nations. We invite consultants with expertise in economics, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, governance, agriculture, food security, environment, climate change, carbon initiatives, REDD+, ecosystem services, energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, forestry and natural resource management, empowerment and civic engagement, combating child labor, or combating trafficking in persons to submit your curriculum vitae (CV) / resume.
How to Become a Registered Consultant with Winrock
Consultants with international development experience (working with USAID, DfiD, multilateral funding organizations, and other international organizations) and language skills (French, Spanish, Arabic, etc.) are encouraged to submit their application as our registry database is used frequently to find consultants for a wide variety of projects, programs and proposals.
Winrock would like interested applicants to submit a comprehensive CV, detailing relevant sector experience, countries worked in, education degrees, and languages. This increases the chances of being selected as the selection process starts with a search based on the consultant's experience and other related information. Please make sure you indicate your contact information on your CV, preferably with location address, phone number(s) included but at a minimum we require an email address.
Applications are reviewed to determine relevant sector experience based on the various types of expertise mentioned above in this announcement and you will be notified if your CV was eligible for entry.
Consultants in our professional register system are not viewable by personnel outside of Winrock.
Updating Your Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Once an applicant is accepted and entered into the registry, Winrock will contact you annually for updates to your information. To maintain an active and current professional registry, we encourage currently registered consultants to email updated CVs / resumes when requested. Profiles that stay inactive for more than 2 calendar years will be deactivated.
