Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed in the kitchen area
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Assist customers with their deli orders and provide excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Stock and rotate deli products to ensure freshness
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and portion sizes accurately
- Previous experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and inventory management is a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
