Job Description
Position Overview:
This position is r esponsible for the end-to-end leave of absence program, wellness program and Employee Assistance Program for all US based employees. Responsibilities include program design and administration; with focus on the employee experience, accurate pay, compliance and continuous improvement. This position will report to the Head of US Benefits.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of leaves of absence and accommodations for employees including medical and family leaves, short-term and long-term disability, and military leaves.
Help develop overall wellness program strategy and programming (execute on our 4 pillars - physical, financial, emotional and social).
D evelop and implement innovative programs to improve employee health and productivity.
Keep current with leave, disability and wellness trends; recognize potential implications for the company and recommend new programs based on evidence.
Coordinate with external wellness, disability and EAP providers and others as applicable.
Ensure development and coaching of direct report.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of experience in disability management and corporate wellness
Good judgement and project management skills
Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to handle difficult/sensitive employee situations and challenges within tight timeframes.
Strong computer skills and a working knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel, One Note, Internet search tools and the ability to easily learn new software programs
Demonstrate leadership capabilities and commitment to ongoing personal development
Demonstrate ability to handle shifting priorities, strong organizational skills and maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
Demonstrate ability to deal effectively with the all levels of the organization and to work effectively in a team environment.
