RETTEW, a growing employee-owned company has an opportunity for a Regional Manager for our Pittsburgh, PA office. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations at our office, located in Robinson Township.
Serving as a high level resource for staff in the region, participating in technical matters such as timely project completion, QA/QC and procedural standards
Generate, maintain and expand RETTEW’s market share in the region
Establish and maintain a network of Pittsburgh areas business leaders for purposes of business development
Develop and/or assist in developing new business by identifying opportunities, building relationship networks, participating in proposal presentations an selling/closing on projects
Acting as liaison to the technical service area leadership for operational issues such as team/staff performance, resource sharing and corporate communication,
Supporting regional recruiting and retention efforts as well as show a commitment to long-term development of staff by providing guidance, coaching and mentoring as needed.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 10-15 years of diverse, responsible engineering design and management experience preferably in the areas of water/wastewater, land development, or municipal
An established presence/network within the Pittsburgh region is highly desired
Ability to lead and mentor a diverse staff of engineers and surveyors
Strong organizational, client relations and contract management skills
Excellent communication, coaching, mentoring, supervisory and presentation experience
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with public officials, government agencies, contractors, developers and their representatives as well as co-workers
