Serves as a trusted advisor to the division senior management by providing assistance and support with business planning and analysis, budget/forecast development and variance tracking and analysis activities. Works with division senior management to ensure that the FP&A business plan is aligned with the Company's strategic plan and the financial impact of strategic initiatives are aligned with business plan objectives.
Understands and assesses functions and needs of assigned business unit(s)
Assists in business plan development and forecasting process, including developing assumptions/scenarios for business planning, assisting line of business management with initiative development in support of corporate financial goals
Designs and develops reports for use by multiple levels of management for variance analysis and forecasting efforts
Assists division senior management with monthly tracking, analysis and reporting of actual results against plan results
Proactively develops ideas and suggestions for business process improvements
Assists with the development, enhancement and implementation of the bank's planning and analysis framework, including the use of efficient and effective automated planning tools
Assists with performing department's monthly processes and directs the work of financial analysts on the team
Independently designs and develops tools and reports to perform various requested financial analyses

Minimum Education Requirements:
College (4-year) degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum Experience Required:
3 years experience in financial reporting and preparation of financial reports. Experience in banking or financial services industry is preferred.

Required Skills or Training:
Experience with enterprise-wide planning and budgeting systems to include, but is not limited to, development of calculations, and design, development and testing of financial models preferred
Working knowledge of the principles of accounting for financial institutions, preferred
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Working knowledge of banking operations
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
CPA is preferred
