Overview
As a Security Integration Project Manager at APV, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects within our security integration department. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated security solutions that meet our clients' needs and expectations. Competitive pay commensurate with experience.
Duties
- Plan, initiate, and manage security integration projects from sale through completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate resources, equipment, and materials needed for project execution.
- Monitor project progress, manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs, and ensure that proper approvals are obtained as necessary.
- Conduct regular status meetings with project team members and stakeholders to review project progress and resolve issues.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to management, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Evaluate and assess project results to identify areas for improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in security integration or related industry.
- Strong understanding of security systems integration, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related technologies.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- 2+ years of experience in networking, IT support, or related position.
- 2+ years of installation/programming/troubleshooting experience with low voltage, Access Control, Video Surveillance equipment.
- Experience with Avigilon ACC and ACM, RS2, AMAG, Mercury based platforms, HanwhaTechwin software platforms and equipment.
- Current DCJS Electronic Security Tech
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings (drug testing and driving record).
Pay: Commensurate with experience
