CACI is looking for a support contractor to act as a liaison in support of our MSS group in Washington, D.C.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Interface with the IWS CTO and IWS/ONR liaison daily and receive tasking.
Participate on a weekly basis in a meeting with the IWS Science and Technology (S&T) Team headed by the IWS CTO and discuss current and future S&T tasking.
Participate monthly in a meeting chaired by the IWS CTO and IWS/ONR Liaison with participation from each of the PEO IWS Major Programs.
On behalf of the IWS CTO and/or the IWS/ONR Liaison, participate in meetings, working groups, and project reviews. Needs to be able to report back on meeting results and action items.
Participate in the response of PEO IWS to various S&T Data calls
Assist with the development of CTO and IWS/ONR Liaison presentations, both unclassified and classified.
Regular daily travel between home office (300M), Navy Yard, and Office of Naval Research in Arlington, VA
Increased responsibilities as time in service increases.
More About the Role:
PEO IWS leads a professional and experienced organization that delivers Enterprise solutions for Naval Warfare Systems in the areas of Air Defense, Missile Defense, Undersea Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and Anti-Surface Warfare. Collectively, this team must provide effective and suitable deliveries of integrated warfare systems and technology, installed on a variety of platforms. This position seeks a self-starter with a strong work ethic as well as possessing a strong attention to detail. This person should be a self-directed individual who can take direction and run it to completion without numerous iterations. This person will have an important role with a variety of tasking involving interfacing with many government and commercial points of contact.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must hold a Secret Clearance and gain access to SIPRNet
Engineering or hard sciences degree with at least 3-5 years of applicable experience.
Support the IWS CTO's office hours of 0700-1600
Have a background in S&T, Technology Maturation and/or Technology Transition.
Strong presentation development skills and experience with the associated tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience developing up to Flag/SES level classified and unclassified briefs.
Basic understanding of the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Office (PEO IWS) organization, programs, and products.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with the operation of ONR is not essential, but a background and familiarity with the many technology maturation and transition venues is desired. Key ones desired include Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD), Rapid Prototype Program (RPP), and Innovative Naval Prototypes (INP). A basic understanding of the following would be a plus: Automated Test and Analysis (ATA), Naval Innovative Science & Engineering (NISE), Defense-Wide Manufacturing S&T ManTech, Foreign Comparative Test (FCT) and Navy Manufacturing Technology (ManTech).
