To assist the Kansas State Department of Education to carry out the Kansas State Board of Education mission, we are recruiting for an Education Program Consultant on the Early Childhood, Special Education, and Title Services Team in the Division of Learning Services.
OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The purpose of this position is to meet the State Education Agency (SEA) general supervision responsibilities for providing technical assistance to local education agencies in the area of Uniform Grant Guidance and integrated accountability for Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) and the State of Kansas Special Education statute for exceptional students, manage strategic, cross-program budgeting, and to ensure SEA compliance with changing federal fiscal requirements. This position fulfills requirements including Title X Part C McKinney-Vento and private school issues with all federal programs and Kansas Accreditation.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in relevant degree field(s) as determined by the agency.

Rate of pay – $2158.40 bi-weekly
