Support
Provide oversight and guidance for BIM technology and support
Serve as escalation contact on advanced support issues
Research, develop, and recommend BIM-related technologies and services
Support and consult on BIM project standards with staff and clients
Consult the development of Revit families in response to discipline needs
Manage and distribute coordinated support documents to support and production staff
Proactively coordinate needed changes to BIM services with stakeholders in line with PAE change-management policy and procedure
Wherever possible, facilitate the automation and integration of BIM technologies with relevant technology platforms
Standards & Training
Proactively collaborate with management, production, and committee stakeholders in the development, training, enforcement, and quality control for BIM policy, procedures, and standards
Develop and support a strategic BIM-training syllabus
Develop and deliver regular training to new and existing production staff resulting in measurable high-levels of staff proficiency
Assist in the hiring process by evaluating interviewees on BIM, Revit, and related skills
Assist in performance evaluation and prescriptive development plans for production staff
BIM Production & Strategy
Develop short and long-term roadmaps and strategies for the BIM & MEP design technologies
Report on the company’s current and projected state for BIM and MEP design capabilities, economies, and opportunities
Maintain high level of design software competency through continued use and training
Stay informed on best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends (e.g., augmented reality/virtual reality) around BIM and MEP design
Where possible maintain membership in relevant industry associationn
Assist in the BIM budget planning process

Key Competencies & Skills:
Proven experience in the development and delivery of BIM technology roadmaps
Solid experience developing, maintaining corporate training curriculum and published syllabi
Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in BIM related design technologies such Revit, BIM360/C4R, Navisworks
Solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD
Ability to translate non-technical business requirements in technical solution development
Ability to work with technology partners and vendors to manage delivery of desired outcomes
Able to convey BIM concepts to all levels of design, production and leadership staff
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to formally present in front of staff and leadership
Solid relationship management and performance management skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute toward organizational goals with minimal supervision
Solid spatial reasoning with the ability to anticipate outcomes and plan toward strategic goals
Ability to receive and respond to operational needs outside of business hours
Availability to travel once per month
Willingness and flexibility to help with local office activities as needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of relevant experience with Revit and associated BIM production tools
Industry-recognized certifications such as ACP Revit, AGC CM-BIM, etc. preferred

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
