Job Description:
Are you a licensed Ergonomic Specialist or Occupational Therapist (OT) with a strong background in industrial ergonomics? We’re looking for an EXPERIENCED ergonomist or OT who specializes in industrial ergonomic principles and has a proven track record in this field. Your expertise in industrial ergonomics will be key in collaborating with employees and management to develop safer and more productive work environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ergonomic assessments with a focus on industrial settings, offering safety and productivity improvements.
- Educate clients on proper body mechanics, posture, and industrial injury prevention techniques.
- Collaborate closely with management, including senior leadership, to ensure ergonomic strategies align with company goals.
- Partner with engineers and managers to design and implement ergonomic solutions specific to industrial environments.
- Complete administrative duties, including documentation, record-keeping, and report writing.
- Provide on-site ergonomic support at client locations as needed.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed Ergonomic Specialist or OT with significant experience in industrial ergonomics (required).
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and experience working directly with higher-level management.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and senior teams.
- Willing to train the right OT candidate who demonstrates a strong foundation in ergonomic practices.
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in MN.
- Preferred: Ergonomic certification (CPE, CEAS, or equivalent)
