We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Systems Administrator to join our program. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our computer systems, networks, and other IT infrastructure. The Junior Systems Administrator will work under the guidance of the Senior Systems Administrator to maintain and optimize the program's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of installing and configuring Windows operating systems. And will have working knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, and virtual computing concepts. This role will also provide assistance with the administration of networking equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity

Perform software installations and upgrades

Maintain and monitor computer systems and networks, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls

Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights

Conduct regular system backups and ensure data security and integrity

Respond to alerts and notifications regarding system performance or security issues

Participate in the development and implementation of new IT projects and initiatives

Document procedures, policies, and configurations related to IT systems and infrastructure

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of IT.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Associate's in Science degree in Computer Engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, or have 1 year of documented experience.

Day to day operations and maintenance, which include but not limited to; review of audit logs, creating backups of the data files, maintaining network equipment inventory.

Server/Workstation Security and maintenance updates

Maintain system configuration documentation

Maintain system process and procedure documentation

Maintain virus definitions, patch versions and Department of Defense (DoD) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) levels on all network Servers, workstations and laptops

Provide technical support and implementation for PBM network workstations and Virtual terminals

Work with other team members to analyze and resolve user problems and perform preventative maintenance

Provide installation support for network systems applications

Monitor and maintain What’s Up Gold network monitoring software

Support as needed DoD Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF)

Create and maintain images for workstations and laptops within SCCM

Manage Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $58,183.94/Yr. Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $96,973.24/Yr. Salary Disclosure: Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
