Position: Phlebotomist Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
- Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
- Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
- Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
- Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
- Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
- Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
- Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
- Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
State Requirements:
- Classroom instructors shall have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Classroom instructors shall have additional training as follows: A minimum of three (3) years work experience in the technical area or related field. (Medical work experience such as MA, or Phlebotomy)
- A degree, certificate, or license in the subject area or related field; OR
- A minimum of eighteen (18) semester hours of credit from an accredited institution in mathematics and/or science, or courses related to the subject area.
- High school or college transcripts required as proof of completion
Documents Required:
- Medical Technical Certification (MA, CPT, etc)
- High School completion with dates listed on resume
- Current resume (w/ employer address & supervisor name)
Schedule:
PM Shift: Monday- Thursday, 6:00PM - 10:00PM
