The Director, Business Integration position is responsible for managing the integration of a newly acquired company into Teladoc following M&A activity, and ensuring successful outcomes related to the integration.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Serve as the strategic and day to day lead for all aspects of the integration process, including managing designated team members and/or third-party resources assigned to facilitate integration activities.
Work with executive leadership to develop objectives and key results (OKRs) for the merger or acquisition integration process, and evaluate progress and performance against them regularly.
Establish communication channels, processes, tools and timelines to achieve the desired OKRs .
Work with executives and business leaders to ensure the momentum and speed of activities are aligned with the OKRs, including facilitating timely decisions on key topics.
Assist with successful relationship building between merging departments and leaders, identifying any cultural considerations or potential disconnects that could risk integration success.
Organizes and leads periodic status updates/checkpoints for Executive leadership.
Regularly evaluate and prioritize activities and integration opportunities/risks.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify integration opportunities and/or dependencies, and to coordinate and communicate resolutions to all involved.
YOU MUST HAVE:
BA/BS required; Master’s or MBA preferred
Experience working in a consultant role in prior M&A related integrations with global and domestic aspects
PMP certified preferred
10+ years’ experience required; healthcare experience preferred
Strong project management skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of staff – employees through executive leadership
Ability to mediate difficult conversations or decision-making processes
Strong business acumen and ability to act in a consultative role
