MI Cannalytics is looking for a candidate that seeks a challenging position, working a Monday through Friday schedule in an independent testing laboratory serving the cannabis analytical laboratory industry. The successful candidate will be reliable, exhibit strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS, must:
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Be at least 21 years old.
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The laboratory technician is responsible and accountable for the testing, quality control, and tracking of cannabis material.
- Ensures the safe, accurate, and timely testing of cannabis products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Follow policies and procedures for daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations.
- Prepare samples for potency, residual solvents, terpenes, heavy metals, and microbial testing.
- Develop expertise in testing methods.
- Responsible for inventory of supplies and cannabis tracking and destruction
- Responsible for accurate weighing and recording all product weights.
- Works in a timely manner and strives to improve quality and maintain accuracy.
- Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned, which include cannabis pick-up and transport.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
