Operates general x-ray equipment and fluoroscopes.
- Appropriately employs radiation protection techniques for patients and staff.

Accurately evaluates images for compliance with diagnostic requirements.

Completes appropriate documentation for each exam performed.

Observes personal protective equipment guidelines and antiseptic standards to protect patients and staff.

Follows HIPAA and compliance rules and regulations.
-
Follows the ARRT Standards of Ethics.
Qualifications:
-
Required: Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology (RT).
- Must be a graduate of a certified radiologic technology training program.
Physical Requirements:
-
75% of time standing, walking, use of clear audible speaking voice and ability to hear normal speech level.

50% of time frequently sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing or pulling 1-25 pounds.

25% occasional bending, stooping, crouching.
- Ability to lift/push/pull or carry 25 – 50 pounds occasionally.
