Binsky, a large-scale mechanical contracting and service provider, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our PA Sales Team.

The Strategic Account Manager directly generates bookings by selling solutions to new and current clients assigned to them by the Director of Business Development through face-to-face contact. Job may require some level of travel. This position will assist management in devising sales plans and strategies. The ideal candidate will be tenacious and proficient at developing long term relationships that grow year over year, will always be prepared to act as a consultant and resource to customers and will be a strong networker with creativity and marketing flair.
Develop self-generated leads through networking, data mining (from existing client records) and referral generation from previous clients in the Philadelphia marketplace.
Maintain any existing managed and/or key accounts for a 4.5+ customer service rating.
Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging to customers and help them gather voice of the customer information when needed.
Increase bookings from existing customers and generate additional bookings from new customers regarding process, HVAC and plumbing needs, using proper sales techniques, problem solving skills and account management
Partner using Estimating for projects and provide support to the administrative personnel as requested.
Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete, that can easily be transferred to the installation team.
Regularly update CRM system (Salesforce) with the latest customer information and use customer intelligence for account planning purposes.
Communicate proper operation and owner’s maintenance of the installed equipment to the consumer.
Answer equipment related questions such as: operations, features, and functions
Perform required documentation for each installation and have each client sign necessary paperwork and collect payments as directed.
Identify, qualify and close new preventative maintenance business opportunities.
Regularly meet with Director of Sales to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of existing and potential clients.
Ability to demonstrate a complete knowledge of current process, HVAC and plumbing work preferred.
Utilize job site walks to acquire system information.
Through commitment, high standards, persistence and drive, meet or exceed yearly sales bookings and margin goals.
Job Related Experience and Education
10+ years of successful sales experience.
Commercial process, HVAC and plumbing industry experience is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or mechanical engineering preferred.
Excellent track record in developing territory management to ensure market saturation and profitability, including sales strategies
Experience in media sales, marketing or public relations
High-volume, business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
Experience with developing written proposals; delivering oral presentations to customers and other stakeholders in a professional manner
Strong experience in high-net worth marketplaces with diverse customer base
Knowledge of independent agencies
Prior experience with sales management tracking databases
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license; must have reliable transportation.
Clean, neat, professional appearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong knowledge of the GlobalEdge (GE) software program.
