The Emergency Department is looking for a Physician Assistant, Moonlighter, at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. The physician assistant will perform direct patient care under the direction of the attending physicians, with clinical practice in pediatrics and emergency medicine. The physician assistant must be able to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary team.

The Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, with a long-established and excellent reputation in pediatric health care, draws a broadly diverse patient population with a wide variety of diagnoses. Requirements:
Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
Current certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physicians Assistants
Clear and active license as a Physician Assistant in the state of Delaware
Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies
Current certification in BCLS, PALS and ACLS
Minimum of 2 years Physician Assistant experience, preferably in Pediatrics. Other job experience may not be substituted for this requirement
Previous experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.
