As a Technical Writer, you will produce high-quality documentation for our security compliance function within the IT department. You will join a team of talented technology professionals who work collaboratively with developers, technical support, and security experts to make our processes more efficient as well as security focused. We also will rely on your excellent communications skills both written and spoken. We will look to your solid understanding of technical support processes and procedures.   • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the process and the documentation requirements
  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
  • Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

We need the Technical Writer to work creatively, analytically, and independently. We also need for you to have the following:

  • Proven working experience in technical writing of software/hardware documentation
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation while paying attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking of projects
  • Background in IT technology to include networking and server administration
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
