Roc Nation, One of Live Nation’s joint ventures, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for supporting all brand digital channels. This position will report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using digital publishing and analysis software, and have a strong/creative eye for copy, design, email and webpage layouts. In addition, social media/advertising copywriting skills are a must. Also, experience using digital marketing programs such as social community management software, campaign management tools (Facebook Ads, SnapAds, Snapchat Geofilters, Doubleclick, etc.), and web content management systems like WordPress (CMS) are also a plus.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with lifestyle, nightlife, apparel and/or spirits brands in the digital space.
Serve as a content producer (curator, writer, editor) to create editorial stories and opportunities to inform, engage and inspire our followers
Communicate and coordinate with potential partners to help develop strategy, collect digital assets and manage a social media calendar
Develop relationships with press and writers in the digital, tech, lifestyle, and spirits arena
Assist in social media performance analysis & reporting of social media campaigns
Schedule social media content using Spredfast Publishing suite
Proactively map seasonal communications, initiatives and events, and develop supporting communication plans (i.e. audience, vehicle, cadence, and messaging)
Provide day-to-day community management, maintenance and content management of all web & social properties
Assist in coordination & creation of media assets and their transfer to appropriate team(s)
Collaborate with client teams & internal stakeholders to ensure that the digital content of all channels are aligned with brand guidelines and goals
Suggest new ways to attract prospective fans/ customers via digital channels
Maintain a current knowledge of industry specific technologies and actively scout new digital partners & influencers
Conduct quality assurance reviews and testing of all digital channels including social media, email, and web
Build and deploy email & ad campaigns using standard campaign management tools and manage entire process including campaign set-up, audience selection, proofing, QA, and scheduling
BA/BS degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or equivalent practical experience
2-3+ years related full-time experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/ Google documents and presentation software
Intermediate - Advanced knowledge of Excel/ Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, Formulas)
Organized, self-motivated, resourceful individual with a can-do attitude and ability to think creatively and holistically
Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
Experience as a content producer with the ability to organize, apply hierarchy, and simplify content for various audiences & mediums
Experience building and deploying e-mail campaigns using marketing automation tools (e.g.Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Exact Target/SalesForce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
Experience building, posting and analyzing social media campaign performance
Experience with community management tools (e.g. Simply Measured, Spredfast, Hootsuite)
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Knowledge of best practices for email & social media creative/ posts
Ability to analyze and report on technical issues
Some travel required (up to 10%)
Availability to work remotely on weekends and holidays as required
