LEAD TEACHERS - STAR Center (PRN)
The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland is currently seeking part-time Lead Teachers on an as needed basis (PRN) for their Ronald McDonald STAR Center programs. The STAR Centers are a partnership with Cleveland Clinic Children's Outpatient Center and University Hospital's Rainbow Center for Women and Children, and serve as an extension of the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room programs.
The STAR Center is a free service of the Ronald McDonald House, which provides a fun, welcoming, educational environment for children ages 3-8 while their sibling, parent or caregiver receives medical/wellness care. Additionally, staff and volunteers will provide each family with take-home lesson information and other supportive materials to promote a greater awareness of community resources to help impact future well-being.
College degree in Child Development, Special Education, Family Studies and or current child care experience. Experience as a lead teacher/supervisor, volunteer or intern desirable. All applicants must have experience teaching others. This position is a PRN position/ part-time or as needed each week. The facilities are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, no weekends. Free on-site parking available.
