Gibson Electrical & General Contractors is seeking career minded residential electrical mechanics for year round-work to perform new residential rough wires and finals, old work installations, service work, trouble shooting, and repairs for property management customers. Two immediate opening for the following job requirements:
Prefer 10+ years’ experience and clean driver’s license. A company truck will be provided to be taken to and from the job sites
Candidates must have their own hand tools including cordless drill. Gibson Electrical Contractors will provide company uniforms, specialty tools, and required personal safety equipment. We also offer health, dental, and 401 (k) packages.
Professional appearance, conduct, and communication skills is a must.
Candidate must be able to work diligently alone and with other crew members and be a team player.
Candidate must be able to trouble shoot and have good knowledge of the NEC National Electrical Code. Prefer strong knowledge of residential code, troubleshooting, and repairing.
Maintains electrical service by diagnosing and repairing electrical problems.
Duties:
* Organize work by receiving and studying work orders; gathering tools and supplies.
* Diagnoses electrical problems by utilizing diagrams, manuals, and specifications; troubleshooting systems; conducting tests.
* Repairs electrical problems by replacing faulty parts and components.
* Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with codes.
*New work to include residential and light commercial applications.
