About Baxter’s Global Renal Business Unit

The budgeted salary range for this position is $96,000.00 to $144,000.00170,000.00, and includes an annual bonus opportunity.
You’ll join a high-performing global team supporting Baxter’s $3.5 Global Renal portfolio, report to the Global VP, Marketing, and have opportunities to be a key player in global, cross-functional teams and Baxter’s digital transformation
Develop the Renal Care global training strategy/curriculum based on customer and business needs and from working with portfolio leaders (e.g. hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, digital products)
Scope of responsibility ranges from identifying needs, developing training strategy and materials, embodying the materials in the appropriate medium (e.g. PowerPoint, snackable virtual segments, etc.), uploading materials, to training execution and tracking.
Developing communications for the Global Renal Care’s overarching messaging
Develop training strategies/frameworks based on understanding the needs of the business
Deliver/track expected results on complex, multifaceted training projects.
Lead cross-functional teams to develop the training strategy/deliverables for specific product and therapy areas
Support the implementation/execution of training projects in collaboration with Baxter’s Global Learning Solutions team
Provide subject matter expertise in adult-learning principles and virtual learning best practices
Lead the consistent communication of messages across product portfolios
Lead and coordinate the activities of others in developing training programs.
Drive training programs that accelerate the worldwide adoption of products and therapies.
Collaborate with portfolio leaders/regional training leads to align core curriculum/content development priorities for existing and new products
Align global training programs with regional marketing for priority and timing of delivery
- Demonstrated experience/results in understanding significant quantities of clinical/technical information and readily synthesizing key messages/concepts
- Demonstrated experience/results in developing/executing structured communication plans/messaging campaigns
- Strong skills in training, adult learning, and technical/creative product/program development
- Solid strategic planning abilities/clinical acumen
- Demonstrated track record in leading projects to successful completion
Strong team player, willing and able to support other team members as needed to achieve project goals
Able to make difficult decisions /resolve problems or improve operations
Promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with leadership, varied teams, peers and client groups
Proven success in working with global teams is strongly preferred.
Education and Experience
- BS/BA required with 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, project management, clinical training and/or marketing communications.
- Healthcare industry experience in a clinical setting is required with medical device or diagnostics experience a benefit.
- Proven track record of successful project management experience
- Demonstrated training experience, including training strategy
- Multilingual preferred/not required
- Immersion/experience living abroad preferred/not required
