A group of eager students gather excitedly outside their new classroom. The morning sun casts a golden glow, making the air feel crisp with the promise of a new adventure. Backpacks slung over their shoulders, students find their seats, eyes bright with anticipation as they chat animatedly about the day’s upcoming lesson.
But as they settle in, their excited chatter begins to fade. They glance around, looking for the familiar faces of their teachers who are usually there to greet them with smiles and encouragement. The seats reserved for the teachers are empty. Confusion ripples through the group as they exchange worried glances. Whispers of concern replace the once lively conversation.
Schools are beginning to feel strangely hollow without the reassuring presence of mentors/instructors, especially in the special education space. The special ed teacher shortage is a problem that has been felt throughout the Revere community in Massachusetts. This historic city is desperately seeking a dependable SPED teacher who loves what they do and is willing to guide SPED middle-grade students.
My name is Steve “Stevo” Yang, and I’m passionate about compensating teachers. Teachers’ work and mentorship with students is invaluable as they shape the young minds of up-and-coming generations. Let me help you!
