SUMMARY:
Corium’s Administrative Assistant will provide organizational support to ensure efficient operation for all departments. This position will be responsible for all administrative duties in the front receptionist area as well as a variety of HR tasks, including event planning, new hire on-boarding coordination, and overall morale ambassador for our employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Welcomes visitors by greeting them and directing them appropriately. Ensures visitor registration and confidentiality paperwork is signed and complete.
Maintains security of the front desk area by following procedures, monitoring the log-in system, and issuing visitor badges.
Provides administrative support to all departments, especially Human Resources and Finance.
Answers incoming phone calls and answers/refers inquiries.
Processes items to be mailed, including stamping and/or filling out proper package documentation. Helps sort and deliver mail when needed.
Maintains a safe and clean receptionist area; keeps conference rooms orderly and sets up rooms for visitors and/or meetings.
Creates employee security badges per authorized documentation. Maintains the photo identification system.
Event and recognition coordinator. Liaison with Menlo Park Administrative Assistant on companywide events or meetings.
On-boarding Coordinator. Helps all new employees feel welcomed and coordinates first day schedules.
Recruiting event coordinator.
Ability to meet physical demands and perform the essential job functions within the work environment identified in this job description.

Required Experience
High school diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred.
3+ years of administrative assistant experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in event planning.
