Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Consultant to provide support for an upcoming contract located in Washington D.C. This program supports a range of professional services and IT related task areas within a federal scientific organization.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Consultant will provide subject matter expertise in support of assigned interagency working groups, to include researching relevant topic areas (artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, big data, cybersecurity, information integrity, large scale networking - including broadband, privacy, software, wireless spectrum), drafting meeting agendas, recommending and contacting selected speakers, following up on action items, and drafting meeting summaries. The Senior Consultant shall assist in the writing and editing of technical reports and planning documents (e.g., Federal Plans, workshop reports, workplans, timelines, and other reports, documents) as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or IT related field.
8+ years of experience in support of research and development in artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, big data, cybersecurity, information integrity, large scale networking (including broadband), privacy, software, and or wireless spectrum.
Experience supporting federal working groups.
Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
Demonstrate strong management and leadership skills.
Experience working within a federal government environment.
Must have the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
