This position advises and assists faculty in the implementation of technology and with the development and implementation of distance education courses.

Supports the design of quality online/hybrid courses following the Quality Matters (QM) standards and suggests types of assessments that would measure student mastery of the course objectives
Advises and assists faculty in the implementation of technology in the classroom
Assists the instructional technologist with the administration of the learning management system and other technologies used in the teaching and learning process
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in instructional design, adult learning, education or a related field
Two years of related work experience and experience using online delivery systems
Highly technical computer application skills
Intermediate to advanced skill in using web and media based technologies for education
Effective oral and written communication skills
Valid driver's license
Preference will be given to candidates with a related Master's degree, knowledge of ADA requirements for online learning, strong project management skills and ability to "train the trainer"
