Posting:
SafetyMed is currently seeking a highly motivated Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, demonstrable desire to advance, high attention to detail, commitment to ethical behavior, and a passion for helping others. This position serves as a front line of communication for clients and the candidate should possess a friendly, customer-service-focused attitude at all times. Position will include driving a company vehicle in and around the Greater Houston Metro Area, including occasional day trips to surrounding regions.
- Opportunities for growth into an Account Executive Role (1-3 Years) based on preformance.
Responsibilities:
- Service accounts, including inspections of First Aid Boxes, AEDs, Fire Extinguishers, and Eye Wash Stations.
- Maintain and build professional relationships with customers, ensuring constant communication.
- Adhere to a regular service schedule and proactively address customer needs before service visits.
- Obtain and maintain up-to-date certifications in First Aid and CPR, as well as a Fire Extinguisher Inspection License.
- Develop new business opportunities through cold calls and managing leads.
- Initiate the sales process by reaching out to potential customers.
- Learn from best practices and set standards accordingly.
- Take on additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. (required)
- Valid Texas driver's license. (required)
- Maintain a clean driving record and be eligible to operate company vehicles. (required)
- Able to pass random drug tests. (required)
- Complete all required safety certification courses within six months of hire, including OSHA 10/30 and FEL-B Texas Fire Extinguisher License. =
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with up to 75 lbs on occasion.
- Able to walk long distances over extended periods of time.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
