Parametrix, a leading engineering, planning, environmental sciences and construction management firm, is seeking a PROJECT/SENIOR SURVEYOR to join our Puget Sound region (Bremerton, Puyallup & Seattle). We are open to candidate preference for location. Our offices are in great locations with open office layouts.

This position will provide key support to our Puget Sound Survey operations by supervising and lining out staff, managing projects in the field and in the office, researching and providing technical guidance and providing review and QA/QC for work products and deliverables.

Professional: PLS with 7+ years of progressive surveying experience and experience managing projects. This position combines office and field work and provides daily support to our diverse client base. Your project experience includes utilities work, roadway and interchange improvements, and you have a solid understanding of subsurface construction, building layout, control, boundary, and topographic and design surveys.

Experienced: You will have prior experience providing technical guidance for projects, researching legal descriptions and record of survey, ability to supervise field crews and office technicians, and a solid understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3-D. You will have the ability to make a sound, independent analysis in regard to boundary work and you are able to work independently in the field and have a solid understanding of survey instruments and GPS methodologies.

Relationship & Communication Focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, team player and you thrive on developing rapport with others and quality delivery. The successful candidate must be team oriented, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have an incredible work ethic.

Work ethic: The Survey team works hard and is looking for someone to effectively deliver projects both in the office and in the field as needed. You are self-motivated and work well independently, but also thrive in a team environment. You enjoy leading project work while mentoring junior staff. Travel may be required to our Bremerton, Puyallup and Seattle buildings as necessary to support projects.
