OSI Plastics, a division of Ohio Steel Industries, Inc. is seeking experienced plastic extrusion operators for all shifts for our expanding operations. Salary will also commensurate on experience.
Shifts Available:
Day Shift: 6:00AM - 6:00PM with rotating days off.
Overnight Shift: 6:00PM - 6:00AM with rotating days off.
**Overnight Shift differential applied.***
Main Duties:
Work on Pipe Production Line
- Set up Tooling, Install Die, Sizers, Guides
- String up Extrudate, Adjust Size, Shape and Prepare for Production
- Inspect Product to Conform to Specifications
- Tears Down Line by Removing and Storing Tooling
- Assist Less Experienced Operators
- Uses Forklift to Transport Materials to Line and Product to Storage
Work on Profile Production Line
- Set Up Tolling, Install Die, Sizers, Guides
- String Up Extrudate, Adjust Size, Shape and Prepare for Production
- Inspect Product to Conform to Specifications
- Tears Down Line by Removing and Storing Tooling
- Uses Forklift to Transport Materials to Line and Product to Storage
- Cut Parts to Length and Package
- Uses Forklift to Transport Materials to Line and Product to Storage
- Assemble Steel Reels
- Fabricate and Package Houserisers
- Grind Plastic Material
- General Housekeeping Around Work Area
- Ability to follow OSHA Guidelines
- Cleaning of Certain Equipment
- All Other Duties That are Assigned Based on Production Needs
