Decision Resources Group (DRG) is seeking a part-time Editorial Associate to help develop, write and coordinate high quality, engaging thought leadership and marketing content for life sciences executives.

The role provides an opportunity to:
Work with some of the industry’s top experts across multiple aspects of healthcare (clinical, commercialization, market access, digital, analytics)
Create high-value content pieces for the top global life sciences companies
Drive measurable business value by incorporating content into multichannel marketing programs

This role will require global collaboration with stakeholders in DRG’s 17 offices around the world, and the candidate can be remote or work from one of DRG’s offices in Boston, New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.

Strategic Planning & Execution

Work with the Director, Content Marketing to partner with business stakeholders to plan and develop content that hits on the intersection of customer need and DRG business priorities

Content Strategy and Development

Interview and / or coordinate with internal experts to bring their expertise to life in the form of blogs / articles, executive briefs, infographics, videos, and other engaging content
Copywriting and editing of content
Work with production team to plan, coordinate and edit videos
Repurposing existing long form content and research into a variety of smaller, engaging formats to maximize outreach
Coordinate with internal and external resources for design and development (ie, graphic design, web development, animation)


Write emails, social, and other outreach tactics to promote content
Assist on account-based strategies to customize outreach to best-fit companies and contacts
Coordinate with marketing operations team for deployment

Have, or working towards, a bachelor’s degree or MBA
Background in journalism, marketing / communications or life sciences
Very strong writing and interviewing skills – looking for a journalistic or storytelling approach
A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
Strong project management and communication skills
Self-directing and “get things done” attitude (not afraid to try new things to get content out the door)
Detail-oriented, proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries a plus
Past experience building audiences either online or offline a plus
