Five Star Senior Living is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee Communities within the states of Maryland and Virginia.

We are seeking a Regional Director of Dietary Services for our Maryland, Massachusetts and Virginia communities. If you possess these core values, we would like to hear from you!

Develop and deliver hands on and distance training to location food service & administrative staff in all areas of food and dining operations such as:
Food cost and labor cost control.
Menus, meal service and plate presentation.
Hospitality and customer service.
Sanitation, Food Safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points.
General Nutrition and special diets.
Monitors and audits communities for Five Star Standards of Food and Dining
Services. Develops a follow up plan with Location Management to address areas that need further focus.
Assists Executive Director and Regional Director of Operations with selection, orientation and training of location based food and beverage directors.
Completes and or collects five Star Food & Dining Quality Improvement Tools monthly from region. Develops a follow up plan with Location Management to address areas that need further focus.
Assists Corporate Director of Food and Dining Services with program/systems development & implementation.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years management and/or training experience in senior housing market, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Serve Safe Certified or other nationally recognized Food Managers Certification
