Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED, Required.

Licensure/Certification: Completion Novant Health sponsored training program, Required. Life Support Responder (within 90 days of employment), Required.
Completion of Novant Health Safety Attendant training, Required. -
Additional Skills Required: Upon completion of the Novant Health sponsored training program, the Care Associate works within the guidelines of nursing and Novant Health policies and procedures. Must exhibit strong communication skills; ability to write effectively; effective computer skills, and strong customer service skills.

Additional Skills Preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation. If needed in the Safety attendant role, the Care Associate must complete appropriate training and be able to perform the Safety Attendant skills as indicated in the Safety Attendant job description.
