St. Luke’s is looking for a Full Time (1.0 FTE) Supervisor of Child Life to join us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care.
The Supervisor of Child Life is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of staff and promoting the physical and psychosocial development of children.
Essential Job Functions
Provides day-to-day oversight of the unit/department(s) assigned.
Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Will select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff.
Resource and operational expert who collaborates with and supports the department/organizational leadership in problem solving and utilization of resources.
Maintain competence to support patient care delivery for all Child Life service area as needed.
Provides input and leadership in budget planning, implementation, monitoring, and efficiency.
Bachelors’ Degree Child Development, Child Life, or related field.
5 years’ relevant experience.
Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification.
