This position will cover the entire West Coast. Qualified candidates must live in a major metropolitan city on the West Coast with easy access to the airport.
This position will report directly to the National Director and be accountable for sales growth in Pentz and hard surfaces product categories. The Specialist is responsible for developing business with flooring contractors, developers, property managers, designers and architects. The Specialist will work closely with all Territory Managers and Regional Managers to develop and maintain a strategic plan locally to grow sales. The Specialist will be driving and implementing programs, focusing on sales as well as making sure all TM’s are knowledgeable and trained on how to grow sales with our new flooring categories: Commercial Carpet Tile, Broadloom and LVP. The position will require extensive travel with three overnight stays per week to effectively work the geography. The performance bonus will be paid based on obtaining budgeted sales numbers for each region in Pentz Commercial and hard surface.
The Specialist will work closely with the Regional Managers to create and apply an effective sales strategy and work closely with Corporate on developing marketing material for LVP and Pentz.
Provide competitors' samples to manage competitive cross-over grid and sample library of LVP and Pentz
Forecast specifications in LVP; working LVP Corporate Brand Manager
Work with regions, making sure strategy includes Pentz and LVP with end-users and flooring contractors
Work with region to identify top targets: Builder, Multi-Family, Commercial, Retail and LVP
Implement sales plans with top targets and key large flooring contractors
Drive and coach top initiatives: Pentz, LVP, National, Regional and local Specifications
All Regional Managers will be closely aligned with this position, helping facilitate communication, strategy and implantation of new business
Conduct research to identify new markets
Provide trustworthy feedback on competitive information and needs to grow business
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
