SUMMARY: The Assembler /Packer position is responsible for assembling components per approved engineering drawings/ packing filters, maintain 6S standards, while maintaining the quality of products by performing the following duties:
- Follow basic assembly/packing instructions, processes and procedures
- Maintain process cycle time to keep pace with established standards
- Consistently assemble / pack throughout work shift
- Visually inspects filters for any defects
- Must be willing to work on their feet for the entire shift
- Report any issues, malfunction or defective parts to Group Leader
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to effectively communicate and read in the workforce
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Simple math required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for continuous periods of 4 hours. The employee frequently is required to handle product and reach with hands and arms, repetitively throughout the shift. The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
