Position: EMT
Shift: FT/Days 5:00am - 5:00pm (rotating weekends)

Position Summary:
The Multi-skilled Technician demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary as an EMT. The Multi Skilled Technician performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice, under the supervision of the RN and assists with direct patient care; functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SMC/SWER.


Position Requirements:
Must have a current Colorado EMT-B certification at minimum.
Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
IV course completion prior to hire.

Completion of EMT Basic program.
High school diploma/GED required.

One to two years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Demonstrates good organizational skills.
Some specified skills may be required by specific departments.
