- 11 PM – 7 AM: +$1.50
Weekend Shift Differentials (Friday 11 PM to Monday 7 AM):
- 7 AM – 3 PM: +$1.00
- 3 PM – 11 PM: +$3.00
- 11 PM – 7 AM: +$2.50

Responsible for the clinical evaluation and admission process. Ensures residents satisfaction and achievement of their realistic goals. Motivates residents to function independently. Responsible for assisting with hiring and training CNAs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Participates with the Admissions process.
- Assists with supervising and disciplining CNAs.
- Motivates residents to function independently.
- Ensures that all Resident Rights and Responsibilities are protected and enforced.
- Ensures compliance of all State Rules and Regulations a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Establishes and maintains a close liaison with residents and families.
- Maintains all records and communications as required by state agencies.
- Participates with compliance of all Fire Safety Procedures and mandatory fire drills.
- Assists with ongoing care management meetings.
- Reports specific problems encountered by residents to Director of Nursing
- Communicates with appropriate agencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise CNAs to provide quality services in a caring environment which strives to preserve the resident's independence and self-respect.
- Coordinates with the Director of Nursing and other supervisors to schedule all services provided to the residents.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Knowledge and experience with Florida Skilled Nursing Facility Regulations
- Knowledgeable about the Dementia disease process and management experience in a Long-Term Care Facility (preferred, but not required)
- CPR/AED Certification required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Language Ability
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, speaking the primary language of the residents.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret graphs.
Cognitive Demands:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
- Ability to use Microsoft Windows and PCC preferred. Ability to use software to design calendars and signs. Ability to use the Internet.

Pay: $26.50 - $28.50 per hour
