As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with a variety of HVAC equipment. Ongoing training and skill enhancement provided to all of our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair heating and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, air conditioning units, and heat pumps.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and lubricating components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, using diagnostic equipment and expertise.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate a company van and drive to job sites as needed.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure the efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Use design and mechanical knowledge to recommend and implement upgrades to HVAC systems.
- Perform plumbing and equipment repair tasks as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments through training and continuous learning.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with HVAC systems.
- Service technician experience, with the ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment.
- Ability to operate a van/truck and drive to job sites.
- Experience with equipment repair and welding.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and the ability to perform plumbing tasks as needed.
- Familiarity with design principles
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
